Information We Collect
Floor Plan 3D collects information to provide better services to our users. We collect information in the following ways:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and profile details when you sign in with email, Google, or Apple.
- Project Data: Floor plans, AR room scans, photos, 3D models, spatial measurements, notes, and budget/material data you create in the app.
- Device Permissions: Camera and AR sensor data for room scanning, microphone audio for voice-to-text input, and photo library access when you import or export images — used only while you actively use those features.
- Technical Data: Device identifiers, IP addresses, crash reports, and diagnostic/analytics information for software performance monitoring.
- Purchase Data: Subscription status and transaction identifiers processed through our in-app purchase provider (RevenueCat) and the App Store/Google Play.
How We Use Data
We use collected data to render your floor plans and 3D models, power AI-assisted design suggestions, generate budget estimates, sync your projects across devices, and improve app stability. We do not sell your project data to third-party advertisers.
Data Storage
Your projects are stored locally on your device and, when you're signed in, synced to Firebase (Google Cloud) using encryption in transit and at rest. Some project data may also remain in an on-device database for offline access.
Third-Party Services
We use Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, App Check, and AI features) for core app functionality, Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple for authentication, and RevenueCat for subscription and in-app purchase management. Each partner is vetted for compliance with international privacy standards including GDPR and CCPA.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, export, or delete your projects and account data at any time from within the app or by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your synced data from our servers.
